This Christmas I decided to release some ancient, dusty songs that may have only been heard previously on cassette tape. These will be trickling their way onto the internets (along with many other non-holiday songs) in the coming days, but here’s a sneak preview of the Christmas ones:
Gruel (Christmas for Pirates)
Released in 1992 on the first-ever Hucklescary Finn recording, a cassette EP, it tells the tale of a lonely pirate’s Christmas dinner.
Under the Deck with Scabby
Also from the same 1992 Hucklescary Finn recording, this song tells the boisterous tale of Scabby’s Christmas-morning stocking findings.
The Flea who came for Christmas (2003)
This one should require no explanation. It’s all in the title, really.
